Windblade is an Autobot and female Transformer, from the planet of Cybertron.
History
On Cybertron before the Space bridge activated, the Decepticon and Autobots where in a battle of unclear circumstances. After the doorway bridged Cybertron with Equestria, Windblade found herself in Ponyville where she broke the sound barrier and quickly befriended Rainbow Dash. The two bonded over their speed and love for going fast, and so they hosted a race to see who was faster. Their race was interrupted by Misfire and his goons, Ion Storm, Acid Storm, and Nova Storm, who the duo quickly defeated.[1]
Behind the scenes
Windblade is a prominent figure in the Transformers franchise, appearing as a major character in various comics and recently, cartoons.
Some of Windblade's voice actors have appeared in My Little Pony works. Her Latin American actress in Robots in Disguised, Jahel Morga voiced Night Glider, in French, she was voiced by Sophie Landresse, who provided the voice of Rainbow Dash in a trailer for the 2017 film, and her Finnish actress, Susa Saukko, has voiced a variety of characters.
