All textual contents and original images uploaded to Equestripedia is lisenced under CC-BY-SA-4.0. In short, you may use our text or original images in any context, commerical or otherwise, for free as long as you credit us. Failing to do so will result in a copyright violation.
That also means that everyone who submits to this site will have their contributions marked as CC-BY-SA-4.0. If you do not want an image you upload to be considered as such, put {{COPYRIGHT-SELF WORK}} in the file upload description. This will allow you to retain all rights.
Notice to copyright holders[edit]
Several images hosted on Equestripedia are copyrighted material, mostly photographs, illustrations and paintings. We use these files for archival and educational purposes, almost always with crediting the original author and if possible, with a link to purchase the original artistic work.
If you are an author, subject, or authority of said subject, and wish to see a file removed from our site, please contact User:Amelia through her talk-page or Discord to let her know.
