Marble Pie was the sister of Maud Pie, Pinkie Pie and Limestone Pie, the daughter of Cloudy Quartz and Igneous Rock, the aunt of Little Cheese, sister-in-law of Cheese Sandwich, potential distant cousin to the Apple family, ex-marefriend of Big McIntosh and S.O. to her special somepony. Although she was timid and meek for much of her known history, Marble began to break out of her shell in her early college years, showing herself to be a very intelligent and friendly young woman.

History

Marble Pie was born a little before 20 years before the redemption of Princess Luna, making her born in the late Era of Princess Celestia. She grew up in Rockville, a small village south of Ponyville, on the Rockfarm. Despite being "as quiet as a stone", Marble was shown to have a generally good relationship with her father as the two danced together when Pinkie Pie held her first party[2] and was a playful, even realistic and mature foal.[3] She tended to be happy with her place with the family and let her sister take control of the situations at hand.[4]

Not much changed in Marble's adult life, she was still meek and quiet, though somewhat less timid. When the Apple family - thought to be distant cousins to the Pie family.[5] - came to visit their humble farm for the Hearth Warming Eve season, Marble Pie developed a crush on Big McIntosh and the two seemed to hit it off.[6] Unfortunately for Marble, she spotted Big McIntosh muzzling his girlfriend and wife-to-be, Sugar Belle, meaning their relationship did not work out.[7]

Despite her timidness, she did seem to have a backbone and showed her sister, Limestone Pie, shade, when she was being rude to her and Pinkie Pie over Pinkie's confusion during the Mudbriar incident.[8]

Marble would prove her sheer intellect when she was accepted into the University of Abyssinia, in a program that accepted much less then 1% of applicants, and that was ran by comic editors![1]

At some point, she may have developed a relationship with her special somepony.[9]
