Lily Valley is a pony who gets scared easily. It's not hard to frighten her, so whenever some new disaster is coming to Ponyville, you can expect her to be front and center warning everyone of the supposed impending doom. Despite her cowardly disposition, she is is cheerful, kind-hearted and a talented florist. Always with a smile on her face, Lily is close friends with Daisy and Roseluck, though she can be a little bossy.
History
The many "dooms" of Ponyville
Not much is known of Lily's past, other than she was friends with the other flower ponies before Twilight Sparkle came to Ponyville. She was perhaps the pony most affected by the 'bunny stampede' on an emotional and financial level, as she panicked and fainted at the sight of the rabbits, who proceded to eat her flower garden.[1] Likewise, she panicked at Zecora coming to town, fearing that she was an evil presence,[2] and was deeply troubled by the arrival of the 'cutie pox' illness.[3]
Putting her hoof down
Lily's disposition would change when Iron Will visited Ponyville for his seminar tour. After attending one of his shows, she apparently grew far more assertive.[4][5]
Personality
While at surface value, Lily is little more than a anxious panic waiting to happen, she was otherwise almost always in good spirits. She clearly valued her friends dearly, spending several days with them, working alongside them.
