Filthy Rich was the patriarch of the Rich family and owner of Rich's Barnyard Bargains. Considered one of the most powerful ponies in Ponyville, Filthy Rich developed a rivalry with the Apple family over who was more important to the town.

Personality

Filthy Rich is shown to be a mostly decent and good-natured stallion, though displays greedy and selfish qualities from time to time. He is close with his family, especially his daughter who he clearly loves dearly, and seemed to have a fatherly relationship with her best friend, Silver Spoon as well.
