Sunburst was a unicorn stallion from Sire's Hollow, Equestria who was last seen residing in Ponyville. He may have been the husband of Starlight Glimmer and father of Luster Dawn, though it was unclear. Working as a crystaler in the Crystal Empire, Sunburst was a close ally to the Mane Six and a heroic figure in his own right. After Twilight Sparkle became the Queen of Equestria, Sunburst worked as the Vice-Principal at her school.
He was not a wizard.
History
Later life
After Twilight ascended to Queenhood, Sunburst moved to Ponyville and worked as Vice Principal at the School of Friendship. There, he may have founded a relationship with his boss and lifelong friend, Starlight Glimmer and had a kid together named Luster Dawn, but this was unclear.[1]
