Alice was a cowboy hat-toting country musician and the keyboardist for Dirk's band. She played at Starswirl Music Festival.

History

Alice first encountered the Equestria Girls when she met Sunset Shimmer in the backstage. She initially expected Sunset Shimmer to want to take a selfie with her and her bandmates, Dirk Thistleweed and Jackie, but instead Sunset had them take a picture of her hanging with their effects crew.[1] Later, at Starswirl, she played keyboard with Dirk and Jackie.[2]

Behind the scenes

When "How to Backstage" initially aired, some fans were confused and believed her to be a member of PostCrush, though later shorts revealed her band to be different from theirs. Due to her deep voice, some fans speculated her to be MTF transgender, though this was never alluded to in the actual media.

Naming

"Alice" is an arbitrarily picked fan name. She was credited as "Band member" in "How to Backstage".
