A Fine Line is the first episode in the series of YouTube shorts. It was released in the November of 2017 and stars Sunset Shimmer as she waits in the line, for the line, for the sequel to one of her favorite video games. Template:YouTube

Official description

Sunset Shimmer is PUMPED – the coolest new video game, TYREK’s REVENGE is about to hit the game store shelves and she’s headed to the mall to be first in line for release day – too bad everyone in town had the same idea. Sunset is stuck in the back of the world’s longest line which is boring and lonely until her friends show up and make waiting in line more fun than the game itself.

Story

As the highly anticipated video game Tirek's Revenge is released, Sunset Shimmer decided to wait in line for its release. However, she didn't expect the line to be as long as it actually was. A friendly student tried to cheer her up by telling her it was about the time you spend with your friends, not about the game, but it only made the wait worse. After three hours, Rainbow Dash showed up, after Sunset told her she didn't except her friends to be interested in the game, Dash ran out to round up each of the girls. Now all together the friends had a great time waiting in the line.

Eventually, they made it to the front of the line but the game was just sold out. Sunset, though a little upset, was just grateful she could spend time with her friends. Though, apparently Pinkie Pie already pre-odered the game for her. Aftewards, the girls went to play the game together, as it offered multiplayer support.

Goofs

• In the official description, Tirek's name is spelt with a Y, while in the posters, it appears to be with an I.
• The line Sunset Shimmer waits in has inconsistent people. After the shot where Sunset looks at her phone, the following changes to the line happen
  • "Gordon" appears near Rose Heart
  • Thunderbass, Snips, Snails, and Varsity Trim appear together
  • Curly Winds, Wiz Kid, and appear near Garden Grove
