Timeline of Equestria Girls history

This is an attempt to piece together the chronology of the Equestria Girls timeline. Thankfully, it (should) be more clear than the Friendship is Magic timeline, which can be found here: Timeline of Friendship is Magic history
Prehistory
- Millions of years ago: Dinosaurs roamed the Earth.[1]
- Thousands of year ago: Early humans left their marks in cave paintings.[2]
Thousands of years ago
- Starswirl the Bearded banished the sirens to the Equestria Girls universe.[3]
Hundreds of years ago
Unspecified events in the distant past
- Starswirl, presumably a famous astronomer, lived and left a great legacy, with statues of him being built.[4]
- The Tricorner Villages may have been settled near Mount Vehoovius, if they're, or the mountain, are real.[5]
- Cities like Canterlot and Beach town are eventually built, with schools coming after.
Unspecified events in the recent past
- Decades ago: Old Spice and Dove are born.[6]
- Varies: The cast of Equestria Girls are born in an unspecified order.
A few years prior to Twilight's arrival
- While he was 10 years old, Timber Spruce wanted his parents to sell Camp Everfree and move to town, so he could be a normal kid.[7]
- 'Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy go to Cloudsdale Junior High[8]
- Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rarity meet at the Freshman Fair. Bon Bon, Lyra Heartstrings, Spitfire and Soarin' also attend.[8]
- In 8th grade, Lyra and Bon Bon go to an amusement park.[9]
- Sunset Shimmer arrives in Canterlot,[10] wins the Fall Formal three times, dates Flash Sentry and ruins the friendship of the Human 5.<ref>My Little Pony: Equestria Girls
Twilight's arrival
- Princess Twilight Sparkle arrived in Canterlot, reunited the Human 5 and defeated Sunset Shimmer, teaching her a lesson in himility.
Recently after her arrival
- Sunset Shimmer grows to become good friends with the girls who she bullied and becomes a well-liked member of Canterlot High School.
