Demons are a mythical species of humanoid creatures.

Biology

Demons don't appear to be a natural race, or at least, no naturally born demons are currently known. Instead, every known Demon has in actuality been a human whose been corrupted by magic. In some ways, Demons may be an equivalent to the Corrupted entities of the pony dimension, only far less powerful. When a human mutates into a demon, their basic appearance carries over, but is exaggerated and tends to be given a fiery makeover. Demons tend to have spikier hair and "bat-like" wings with fiery designs. The fingers of demons are also sharper and given sharp tips. Likewise, their teeth become more fanglike and their eyes tend to be stronger colors such as red.

Abilities

Demons can fly and appear to have higher-than-average human attributes. Stronger demons can mind control others and turn other people into demons as well.

History

The extent of how long in Human history Demons go is complete unclear. The only known incidents involving demons were the Battle for Canterlot High School and the Battle at the Friendship Games respectively. In the former, after gaining the Element of Magic, Sunset Shimmer became a demon a turned her underlings, Snips and Snails into demons as they battle against the Equestria Girls. They were ultimately defeated by the Girls, who used the Elements of Harmony. In the latter, Twilight Sparkle accidently turned into a demon with the power of the Elements and was stopped by the Equestria Girls.
