Salamander
Salamander was one of the two guardians of the Cloud Castle, along with Undine. While Undine represented water, Salamander represented fire. As such, he could breath and shoot fire from his mouth. Unlike Undine who seemed mostly just aggressive and violent, Salamander also appeared to be vain, as when the ponies claimed that he wasn't "hot", he flew into a rage. Like Undine, even though he protects Cloud Castle, he doesn't seem to know why he does, as he nearly killed Arial with his fire, and didn't seem to fell remorse.
Salamander was in fact a cursed version of Ferdinand, who was a kind young man.
