This cave was the lair of Razer. When Razer was sleeping, his smoke was covering all of Equestria. In order to stop that from happening, Twilight Sparkle rounded up her best friends in order to confront Razer. When they finally climbed the mountain, Razer proved difficult and rejected all of their attempts, whether it be diploamtic or aggressive. That was, until he mildly hurt Rainbow Dash, causing Fluttershy to go berserk and sternly, yet also kindly, tell him of what he was doing, and ultimately convinced him to move.
