San Palomino Desert is a desert and city located in Western Equestria just south of Applewood. It's directly connected to Canterlot river, as the water acts as a natural border between it and Appaloosa, the Arimaspi Territories and the Macintosh Hills.[1] The desert is apart of a much greater desert that runs as north as Dodge City and as south as the Sea of Clouds. The desert is extremely vast, going from the Caves of Cundumdrum to the Forbidden Jungle and Celestial coast.[1]
The desert is mountainous, containing several large mountains, such as Mount Palomino.[2] The desert is also somewhat iconic in Equestria culture, with Palomino Pictures presumably naming itself after the desert.[3]
