Snap Shutter is Scootaloo's Earth pony father and the husband of Mane Allgood.

Snap Shutter is the younger brother of Holiday and the two presumably grew up together in Equestria. At some point, he met and fell in love with Mane Allgood and the two eventually had a daughter, Scootaloo. However, their life's work proved to important to them, so they left Scootaloo in Ponyville while they explored Equestria and other realms in search for stuff to improve and better Equestria. Due to these adventures, Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood grew somewhat disconnected from their daughter and rarely spent time with her. Scootaloo still idolized her father nonetheless and loved to tell stories of his work.

After Sombra's second revival, Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood decided that they needed to be a family again and came back to Ponyville and told Scootaloo that they were going to move to Shire Lanka. Snap soon sold their house in Ponyville but after he saw how important Scootaloo was not only to Ponyville, but all of Equestria, he let her stay.

Personal life[edit]

Snap lived with his wife in Shire Lanka. Though he wasn't a particularly active father, he was a loving one who obviously had his daughters best interest at heart, but failed to really realize what her best actually were. Although he was shown to be very intelligent in his own right, he didn't seem to think things through sometimes, and sold his house before his daughters depature was set-in-stone.

He may have had a pet cragodile named Marshmallow.
