The Hippogriff Village was a large village settled upon both the top and basin of Mount Aris. It served among the two primary settlements of the Hippogriffs.

History

The village originally served as the capital of the Hippogriff Kingdom, presumably being the seat of Vetera and other ancient rulers. However, the settlement was ransacked and destroyed by the Storm King who reduced the place to a "ghost town". In the process, the Hippogriff cultures moved into the sea and the city of Seaquestria became the new capital of the realm. After the war, the village was restored but did not become the capital, instead becoming one of the two major settlements for the Hippogriff culture.
