Land of the Hippogriffs
The Land of the Hippogriffs was a continent or massive country that was nearby the Abyssinia in the lands Beyond Equestria.
Geography
The Land of the Hippogriffs was a large continent with several islands. Unlike its neighbor Abyssinia, the land appeared to be lush and green with several bodies of water. Ironically however, its civilization appeared to be significantly smaller with only two known cities.
History
The history of the lands are virtually unknown. They were mapped out at some point in the past, given the Storm King containing map of the land.

Behind the scenes
The lands have been completely retconned in later installments and have been replaced with Mount Aris.
