Land of the Hippogriffs
The Land of the Hippogriffs was a continent or country that was near Abyssinia in the lands Beyond Equestria.
History
The history of the lands are virtually unknown. They were mapped out at some point in the past, given the Storm King containing map of the land.
Geography
The Land of the Hippogriffs was a large continent with several islands. Unlike its neighbor Abyssinia, the land appeared to be lush and green with several bodies of water. Ironically however, its civilization appeared to be significantly smaller with only two known cities.

Behind the scenes
The continent has been seemingly retconned in later installments and has been replaced with Mount Aris.
