Golden Apple Tree
The Golden Apple Tree was a tree that bore Golden Apples as fruit, which were said to grant anyone who ate its wish, as long as they were pure of of intent. Pinkie Pie ate from the tree but wished for more apples, with all the apples she ate, she was able to grant her own wishes for hours to come. Twilight and Applejack came to visit the tree later, but soon noticed Pinkie Pie messing up Ponyville with her wishes.
Behind the scenes
The tree was created by the creative team of American writer Paul Allor and Finnish artist Toni Kuusisto for the 69th issue of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic book.
