Adventure!, also known as My Little Pirate: Friendship Ahoy! was the 5th comic story published in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic book series. Like the two previous stories and next few stories, Adventure! is only two-issues long, rather than 4 and tells a more lighthearted tale as opposed to the high adventure of The Return of Queen Chrysalis and drama of Nightmare Rarity. Adventure! is a pirates tell, filled with every ounce of high sea's adventure, roguish pirates and bizarre monsters that comes with the territory.

The story began in Friendship is Magic #13 and ended in Friendship is Magic #14. It was later reprinted in Friendship is Magic volume 4, bundled with the Bookworm storyline.

Series impact
Hoofbeard would go on to become a relatively major recurring character in various My Little Pony works. He was a major character in Tails of Equestria: Bestiary of Equestria, though he never directly appeared and instead wrote a number of notes regarding the monsters documented in the book. Hoofbeard, or at least a model of him, also appeared in a ride at Whinnyland called "Pirates of the Carriagebean".
