Twilight Sparkle, nicknamed Sci-Twi, was a former student at Crystal Prep Academy, who later transferred to Canterlot High School after she nearly destroyed the universe at the Friendship Games. Though initially shy and awkward, Twilight was nothing short of a kind, caring and compassionate girl. She was closed to her family and friends, and had a strong interest in a variety of scientific, technological and cultural interests including astronomy, engineering, robotics and games.

Behind the scenes

Design

Sci-Twi was presumably designed by Kora Kosicka, who was the chief character designer for the Equestria Girls franchise.[4] Designer and animator Jeremy Tin was also credited as character designer in Rainbow Rocks. Fashion designer and illustrator Nicole Guice redesigned Twilight Sparkle for the 2017 Equestria Girls toyline reboot.
