Canterlot High School, often shortened to C.H.S. is a high school located in Canterlot, the capital city of Equestria. Its principal and vice principals are Celestia and Luna respectively. The school is often considered the rival school to Crystal Prep Academy.
Overview
C.H.S. has had a mixed reputation throughout its history. Being the less successful rival to Crystal Prep Academy, the school often loses most of the competitions it enters, but the school is also known for having generally kinder teachers and friendlier students. Though the teachers may be eccentric, it's been shown on a few occasions that their education is still high quality and impressive. Among its students, the school has received a reputation for being weird in recent years, given all the magic that seems to happen.
The school has several events and media. By far their most well-known events are the Friendship Games, which eventually morphed into the Canter-Crys events. Another well-known event they have is the Fall Formal, a dance event where they crown the Fall Formal Prince and Fall Formal Princess respectively. In terms of media, they have their own news station which hosts the shows, Weather in a Flash and Trend Forecast, hosted by Flash Sentry and Rarity respectively.
Staff
Despite being such a large school, only a few teachers and staff members have been revealed through the years. They are:
- Miss Cheerilee, a teacher. Discipline unknown.

- Mr. Kelp, a teacher. Discipline unknown.
- Miss Harshwhinny, a homeroom teacher.
