"Over a Barrel' is the 21st episode of the first season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It introduces Buffalo into the Gen 4 continuity.

Synopsis

Story

Applejack and the others deliver an apple tree named Bloomberg to the town of Appleloosa, though they soon found that the town is in conflict with a tribe of nearby Buffalo, who had previously used the land for grazing until the townspeople planted an orchard without their consent. Although Twilight Sparkle and co try to find a peaceful solution for both parties, the town and tribe declare war on one another using pies as weapons. When Chief Thunderhooves is struck by a pie, he realizes that the apples are tasty and puts an end to the battle and establishes peace between the two groups by creating a path through the orchard for the buffaloes to stampede through.
