The Council of Friendship was an organization founded by Twilight Sparkle shortly after she was crowned Queen of Equestria. Consisting of her closest friends-the other members of the Mane Six and Spike, her soon-to-be Royal Advisor and Friendship Ambassador-the group would agree to meet at least once every moon. The group would continue to serve as the governing body of Equestria, even so far as the time of Luster Dawn's first known visit to Ponyville.
