The Appaloosan Mountains Diamond Dog Gang, also known as the Curs[1] were group of Diamond Dogs who set up a base in a mine located near Ponyville.
History[edit]
According to Jim, the Curs were exiled from Diamondia, the kingdom of the Diamond Dogs for being prolific criminals.[1] After their exile, they began to set up base in a plain near Ponyville. They stalked and kidnapped Rarity for her ability to use magic to uncover gems and took her down to their caves where they forced her to find gems for them, however, her attitude and faux-diva acting drove them crazy and they let her go around the same time she was "rescued" by Spike and the others.[2]
They may have been written about in the book, Monsters, Villains and Ne'er-Do-Wells[3]
At some point later, they may have met up with the Master, a monarch of Diamond Dog society, potentially separate from Diamondia, as Rover was seen at the Convocations of the Creatures event with the leader.[4]
