Scootaloo was a Freshman at Canterlot High and close friends with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. She idolized Rainbow Dash and appeared to be on good terms with Snips and Snails.
History
Early life
Very little was known of Scootaloo's early life, but in her first few days at Canterlot High School, she seemed very lonely and miserable, not yet friends with the Canterlot Movie Club.[1]
Epic failure
Scootaloo and her friends tried to become an internet sensation by posting a music video online. The commenters on her video claimed it was an 'epic fail' and that they were the funniest thing they ever saw, which they later took as a complement.[2]
The fall of Sunset Shimmer
Scootaloo almost ran into Twilight Sparkle while on her scooter. At lunch, she ate a banana in the cafeteria with Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom. In the library, she watched their music video to see their response. While listening to their video, they were confronted by Cheerilee, who found their performance painful and took away their speakers. Even though they were insulted in the comments of their video, they took it was a compliment. The following day, Scootaloo ate lunch with Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and Big Mac. They were later caught up in Applejack and her friends song about voting for Twilight Sparkle. Scootaloo went to the Fall Formal with her friends and did a goofy dance. After the battle that ended the party, Scootaloo watched the destruction of the schools wall in worry. Scootaloo gathered around the crater that resulted from the final attacks and later witnessed Twilight as she became the Fall Formal Princess. The party started once again and Scootaloo gave an enthusiastic dance with her friends before being swooped up by Rainbow Dash.[2]
Personality
Scootaloo was quiet and reserved in public spaces, but generally more talkative in the company of her friends. Although generally timid, Scootaloo displays a more wild and fun loving side to her personality when she and her friends get to goof off or make videos. She is quick to jealousy and plotted to get back at Sunset Shimmer for "hogging" Rainbow Dash but Scootaloo has a big heart in spite of this and felt truly bad for what she did. Scootaloo loves Dash like a sister and looks up to her. In spite of her admiration for Dash, Scootaloo has picked Apple Bloom's side over Dash when she believed Dash was being unreasonable.
