The Ticket Master is the third episode of the first season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It stars Twilight Sparkle as she attempts to find the perfect pony to give the Grand Galloping Gala tickets to.
Synopsis
Princess Celestia sends two tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala to Twilight Sparkle, one for her and one for a friend. Every member of the Mane Six wants the second ticket, and each has their own reason; Applejack wants to set up a food stand, Rainbow Dash wants to try out for the Wonderbolts, Pinkie Pie wants to engage in G-rated bacchanalia, Rarity wants to woo Prince Blueblood, and Fluttershy wants to explore the castle's garden.
The five ponies shower Twilight in favors in an attempt to influence her decision. A group of background ponies hears Pinkie mention the extra ticket and a crowd forms around Twilight; she and Spike get away in a chase scene set to the Benny Hill theme. Twilight returns to the library to find an apologetic Mane Six; she sends back both tickets back to Celestia. In response, Celestia sends sends seven tickets—enough for the whole Mane Six, plus one for Spike.
