Andy Price
Andy Price is an artist whose done various work for IDW Publishing, BOOM! Studios, and Archie Comics, with work for several "toyetic" series, such as My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop.
Beloved for his colorful, yet moody, fun, yet adventurous style of drawing and wonderful paintings, Andy Price is among the most popular and prolific artist for the series and often tops fans "favorite artist" lists. Andy is especially notable in the fan base for being the artist for both The Return of Queen Chrysalis and Nightmare Rarity, arguably the two most well-known comic storylines in the franchise.

Notable characters
Whether or not of his creation, Price's works often include at least one from a pool of original characters created for the comics. Some of these characters include:
- Jim: A sweet-natured and kind, but dimwitted, annoying and insensitive cave troll who collects Pony and other Hasbro toys, such as Optimus Prime.
- Tealove: A stuck-up, but adventurous and romantic pony from Canterlot. She runs Tealove's Tea Room and once had a huge crush on Big McIntosh. She has a rivalry with Fleetfoot.
- Blues Ponies: A pair of musicians from Chicoltgo who travel across Equestria to sing and cause mischief.
- King Aspen and Prince Brambels: The royal family of Thicket, a kingdom of deer in the Everfree Forest. Judgemental but otherwise kind monarchs, they largely keep to themselves but attend royal meetings.
- King of Abyssinia and Queen of Abyssinia: Two monarchs of the desert kingdom of Abyssinia. After their landwas destroyed by the Storm King, they attempted to rebuild. They're often upset over the fact that they feel like they're not "apart of the plot".
