Though the toyline is a rather modest concept when compared to Hasbro's other bombastic toylines such as The Transformers and My Little Pony, it would become virtually synonymous with American toy culture due to its age and humility. In 1986, the toyline would attach itself to My Little Pony when the television show Potato Head Kids served as a package show apart of the My Little Pony 'n Friends programming block.
