Zecora was a wise and spiritual alchemist originally hailing from the nation of Farasi, though moved to Equestria during the reign of Princess Celestia and eked out a humble existence as a hermit dwelling within the Everfree Forest. Though initially believed to be an evil enchantress, Zecora's kind and selfless nature eventually won over the hearts of the ponies of Ponyville who soon accepted her as a good and loyal friend, though she never quite accepted herself as apart of the community.
Zecora was designed by Lauren Faust and voiced by Brenda Crichlow in all English-language My Little Pony media.
