Cutie Mark Crusader capes
These capes were attire created by the Cutie Mark Crusaders early in their history to represent their goals to get their cutie marks.
History
The capes were created by Sweetie Belle, a gifted fashion designer in her own right. She made the golden insignia from gold silk, a fabric material Rarity was making for a client. The capes played a vital role in causing Fluttershy realize the girls went to the Everfree Forest, as she found a tuft of Scootaloo's cape on her fence.[1] The crusaders subsquently wore the capes in many of their future adventures together.
