Charcoal, also known as Charcoal Dragon, is a male Dragon.

History

During the Great Dragon Migration in which Spike took part, Charcoal was among the teenage Dragons he met at the end of his journey.

Later, when Dragon Lord Torch called for a Gauntlet of Fire to determine his successor, Charcoal was among the dragons who answered the summons, but was not actually seen to compete.[1] Twilight Sparkle later included Charcoal among the various Dragons recreated for a simulation in which she imagined sending her student Starlight Glimmer to the Dragon Lands as an ambassador. He was also among the teen Dragons who were gathered for a Gorge-surfing competition when Spike and Rainbow Dash arrived in the Dragon Lands in search of Flash Magnus' shield, Netitus. On another occasion, he engaged Smolder in an arm-wrestling match but was defeated by the smaller Dragon, who then received approval from Ember to return to the School of Friendship early.

Charcoal was later among the numerous Dragons and other creatures who joined in the final battle against the Legion of Doom.[2]
