Archery is a both a martial art and sport that involves the individual, an archer, with a bow and arrow, a tool that shoots arrows from a string.

Archery is a popular sport among young people, especially that of teenagers. The sport has been featured at multiple sporting events, such as the Friendship Games in Canterlot, where two archers, Sour Sweet and Twilight Sparkle competed.
