History

Al first appeared in "Pinkie Pride" as the voice of Cheese Sandwich, who would be his sole character and thus, sole actor to portray him. In the episode, he performed in the song, "The Super Goof Off" and "Super Duper Party Pony". Though Cheese would make sporadic appearances since then, they were all voiceless ones, and Al would not reappear until season 9's "The Last Laugh", reprising his role as Cheese and performed a song of the same name.

Cheese would make his final appearance in "The Last Problem", where he was now the husband of Pinkie Pie and had a child with the mare, Little Cheese. Though this appearance was once again voiceless, Al joked about the scene on a number of occasions, posting on his Instagram that "Lately my timeline has been filled with accusations that I’ve had sexual relations with a horse", which he stated was "not entirely accurate". Likewise, when someone got him to autograph fanart of Cheese and Pinkie Pie together, he wrote "I stole your waifu" on the paper.
