Wendell Washer (January 19, 1947-July 8, 2022) was an animator, storyboarder, cartoonist and writer from Mission Hills, California, known for his work on many Sunbow Entertainment series. Washer began his career as a layout artist for Hanna-Barbera productions, such as Star Trek: The Animated Series. Washer was particularly active in the early funny animal scene and continued to do work involving the sub-culture until his death. Washer would upload many of his old storyboards to his now deleted website. Thankfully, many of which have been saved and archived since.

He was credited on every episode of My Little Pony as "storyboard director", but the actual number of episodes he worked on is currently unknown as the credits remained the same for every episode. He would go on to storyboard at least 9 episodes of the show, given by the storyboards with his credits.
