What’s the source on her grandpa’s name being spelled “rough”, as opposed to “ruff”?--EmeraldBlitz (talk) 22:41, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- There's not much print material for Gen 1 characters (most books and magazines I've read have their own characters) so a lot of times characters are transcribed by my ears or taken from Mylittlewiki. Ruff is probably more accurate of a transliteration but I don't think there's a source for either.--Amelia (talk) 00:39, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- Gotcha. I’ve always thought of it as ruff, as in “ruff of feathers”, but it’s true there’s not really any sources. I definitely am glad that later animation made a point of crediting actors with their roles.--EmeraldBlitz (talk) 01:39, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
