My Little Pony: Micro-Series is a comic series that was published from the February to December of 2013, with 10 issues, each focused on characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, published by IDW Publishing. Unlike the on-going, there was very little continuity in these stories and they were very episodic.

It in many ways can be seen as the predecessor to My Little Pony: Friends Forever, which had a similar concept but on a bigger scale.

Notes

  • It's very likely the name and concept behind Micro-Series was based off the 1985-1986 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic series of the same name. In 2012 and 2013, IDW began publishing two Micro-Series runs based off their run of Ninja Turtles, which shared some staff with the creativ team of My Little Pony, such as Bobby Curnow.
