Mr. Hoofington is the husband of Mrs. Hoofington and co-owner of the Bakery of Hope Hollow.

History

The Hoofingtons originally lived in Manehattan, but didn't care for the lack of feeling of community among their neighbors and how no one talked to anypony. When they heard Hope Hollow was the opposite, they moved to the sleepy village instead. They loved their life in the town, but over time, they grew distant from their friends and hostile to strangers. After the color was dimmed from the town, they couldn't see which apricots were fresh when they picked them, causing their bakery goods to suffer.

With the help of Pinkie Pie, they were able to reconcile their relationship with their neighbor, Moody Root and use his fresh apricots to make fresh pies once again. They sold their newly baked pies in the Rainbow Festival and cuddled with his wife as he saw Sunny Skies proposed to Petunia Petals, bringing color back to the entire town.
