Gostir was a dragon who lived in a cave in the Everfree Forest.

History

Being an adult dragon, Gostir was likely extremely old. He had a respectable hoard in his cave, which Spike took a liking to. When Gostir found Spike, he chased him out of his cave until the young dragon was saved by Owlowiscious and Twilight Sparkle.

Gostir means "dread glance" in Noldorin, from gost (dread, terror) and thîr ("look, face, expression, countenance")
