Wormer Horsehooves was a director who worked Palomino Pictures in Applewood, Equestria.
History
An aged pony, Wormer was a well-known director with a powerful legacy of films, but has grown a disliking to modern cinema, finding it artificial and superficial. He was tasked with directing a movie adaptation to the Friendship Diary called The Princess' Diary but grew weary of its production. He tasked the job on to Rarity and the other Mane Six instead, believing they could produce a more genuine experience than he could. He presented the film at the Applewood theater on its world premiere but was upset with the final product.[1]
Behind the scenes
Wormer Horsehooves was created by the creative team of Tony Fleecs and Ted Anderson for Issue 66 of the comic book series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
