As a result of Thrace's supposed rejection by the [[Founders of Equestria]], the Thracians disdain friendship and eventually came to seek to destroy that among the other pony tribes.

Thracians appear physically identical in appearance to {{FIM|Earth Pony|Earth Ponies}}, and may indeed be a break off from that tribe. They thus lack wings or horns, but appear to have similar physical capabilities to Earth Ponies.
At least one Thracian, [[Swift Foot]], has demonstrated some magical ability, which may be common among her tribe. Unlike most ponies, she has been seen-at least while her magic is active-to possess sharp fangs, not unlike those of [[King Sombra]].
