Tessho Genda (May 20, 1948) is a prolific Japanese actor who has been acting since 1972.

Genda has also appeared as a prolific actor in other Hasbro franchises, notably playing Optimus Prime in various Transformers media. He shares this with Takehito Koyasu, another actor who portrayed Prime.
