The Wedding of Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon was a marriage ceremony held sometime before the second coronation of Twilight Sparkle that united the couple in matrimony.

Over the years, the two had many friendly interactions and by the time of the Bugbear incident in Ponyville, the two considered each other to be best friends. Soon after Bon Bon revealed her true identity as a S.M.I.L.E. agent, Lyra ended up getting caught in the organization as well, becoming an agent beside her best friend and the two had many adventures together
