Stephen Schwartz (born c.1948/49) is an American businessman and toy inventor who served as the Vice-President of marketing at Hasbro. Under his leadership, he made Playskool to be one of the most successful divisions of the company.[1]

Schwartz worked as a manager at least by 1985 and was responsible for bringing back G.I. Joe after anti-war sentiment had "decimated" its sales.[2] By 1987, he was promoted to Vice-President of marketing of Hasbro-Bradley.[3]

During his time, he served as the creator of My Pretty Mermaid.[4]
