'''Chupacabra''' (literally "goat-sucker" in Spanish) were a species of goat eating creatures who lived in heavily forested areas, such as the [[Forest of Leota]]. Although Twilight claimed they only ate goats, Chupacabra were apparently not bright enough to tell the difference between goats and ponies with sticks in their manes, vaguely looking like goat horns.
