Radiant Hope was a Crystal Mare from the Crystal Empire who grew up in Chestnut Falls' Orphanage. From a young age, she became best friends with the odd pony named Sombra, seeing the good in his bizarre personality. Likewise, she often visited her "imaginary" friends, the Umbrum, who appeared as cute, fairly like creatures.
