The Moon is a celestial body located in the solar system, between Earth and the Sun. The moon is sometimes depicted as a sentient being in older works, such as My Little Pony Comic, but is usually depicted as similar to our own.
History
My Little Pony
The Moon was home to the Man in the Moon and the Cosmic Channel. Locket and Whizzer explored it.[1]
Friendship is Magic
The Nyx race lives on the moon.[2] Princess Luna, who could also control the moon, was banished there.[3] Rarity was kidnapped by the Nyx and dragged to Nightmare Castle on the moon to become the next Nightmare.[2]
