Infernal Lands royal family

The Infernal Lands royal family was the ruling family of the Infernal Lands. During the early reign of Princess Celestia of Equestria, it consisted of King Vorak, his wife Queen Haydon, and their sons Tirek and Scorpan. Gram-Gram may also have been a member of the family, but it is unclear whether she would have been considered royalty.

Behind the scenes

The Infernal Lands royal family has the distinction of consisting of what are, presumably, two different species: centaurs and gargoyles. This unusual arrangement exists due to the decision to make the Friendship is Magic versions of Tirek and Scorpan brothers. In My Little Pony’s first generation, their counterparts were a wicked sorcerer and his unwilling, transformed minion.
