Fruit punch was a type of drink that contained fruit juices, or just fruits.
Spike brewed a bowl of punch for the Centennial Celebration, though as he worked himself to the bone, he ended up falling asleep in the bowl before his friends could finish it. Pinkie Pie remarked that the punch was "spiked" as a result.
Behind the scenes
"Spiked punch" was likely a joke regarding alcohol, as alcoholic drinks, or even drugged drinks, are sometimes referred to as "spiked drinks".
