Evil Origins of Canterlot
Evil Origins of Canterlot is a book written at some point, most likely in the Era of Princess Celestia that told of the supposdely evil origins of the city of Canterlot.
Actual history
While the complete history of the foundation of Canterlot are unknown, it was shown in "The Legend of Mistmane" that the foundations of the land was actually quite benign as it resulted with a young Princess Luna actually negotiating with the critters of the Canterlot forest to use their land.
