Changeling invasion of Canterlot

The Changeling invasion of Canterlot was a major event during the Era of Harmony during which Queen Chrysalis and the Changelings invaded Canterlot in an attempt to seize control of love in Equestria to feed the Changeling Hive. The invasion began with Chrysalis infiltrating Canterlot and kidnapping Princess Cadance, enabling her to take control of Shining Armor and allow the Changelings into Canterlot. After Cadance was freed by Twilight Sparkle, the Changelings were repelled from Canterlot by the magical love of Princess Cadance and Shining Armor.
